So, you decided to live a nomadic life. You’ve spent the last several months drinking in every YouTube build video, travel blog and mishap article you could get your hands on. Several hours of vehicle research has led you to the purchase of your new ride. You made it through all the ups and downs of your own build. Hell you even managed to navigate the sea of “ what are you even doing with your life” vibes from well intended friends and family. Wheeeew, can we stop right here? Let us take a moment to breath in deeply the sweet sweet smell of success. Go ahead and pat yourself on the back, acknowledging your ninja level badassery here….you made it!! Now what?? How will you maintain this energetic level while out on the road? The secrets are threefold.
First and foremost, continue to be true to you. Here you are, you braved the new horizon. You’re on the road creating your best life. With each new sight seen you’re connecting with Mother Nature, reconnecting with the nature in you. Out here it’s all about staying centered and aware. Follow those gut instincts always. You stay safe by staying true to you. If you roll up on people or situations that feel off, roll right on along little doggie. The hairs on the back of your neck seldom lie and those knots in your tummy are solid warning systems…heed them. You know what’s best for you. Never second guess yourself again. Which leads us directly to tip number two.
Follow your bliss. Indulge, indulge, indulge, do the things that align with your passion. Let joy be your guide. Give your time and energy only to those things that support your growth and the new life you want to create. Serendipity follows those who allow flow. Choose destinations and events that both align with your purpose and push you past your comfort zones. This will keep your energy levels swirling and your mind
intoxicated. New people with similar interests and new places to explore keep the soul dancing. That’s the magnetism needed to sustain solo life on the road and that brings us to secret number three.
Find your community. Every nomad needs fire time. Find people to meet up with, places to share adventures, and events that feed your soul. Guess what you guys!?…That’s where we come in. We are so excited you’re here!
Congratulations! You. Made. It. You braved your way through the storms, the build stresses, the doubts. Now here you are a solo nomadic badass. Stand strong. You are about to embark on the next chapter of your life and that’s some hallowed ground that we are honored to walk with you!
