We are driving down to Mexican Hat to prepare for our solar eclipse campout from October 13th-15th.

Previously we had planned for the eclipse campout to only be for the weekend- It is now changed to October 1st through October 15th.

Come meet new people and maybe new friends! Coordinates will be provided 3 days prior to campouts!

And this time we are thinking of expanding our s’mores to a s’mores bar!

WTF you ask???  Well, picture an array of chocolate variations – from classic choices to indulgent Reese’s cups, alongside some fruity and health-conscious options. Think of it as a chance to explore alternatives, perhaps even incorporating crisp apple slices. Rest assured, we’re dedicated to accommodating various dietary needs, striving to offer both gluten-free and vegan selections.

This is open invitation. Come when you want and leave when you want! Nomads can’t be held to strict times! Come drop by for a day, or stay the whole time. But you have to make sure to have a s’more! Even if it’s on a Mr Buddy heater!

We are looking for a couple volunteers to help when new people arrive, welcoming and showing campsites!

We ask for everyone to bring at least one bundle of wood and more if you feel so inclined. It will be greatly appreciated.

Join us from October 1st to October 15th for an unforgettable celestial event as we witness a mesmerizing full solar eclipse on October 14th! Set amidst the beauty of nature, we’ll be camping right in the direct path of this celestial wonder, and fortunately, it falls on a Saturday, allowing us to savor every moment.

On Friday morning, the campsite welcomes early birds and campers to start their adventure. Meet and mingle with like-minded enthusiasts as we spend the day soaking in the serene atmosphere. As the night approaches, gather under the vast expanse of stars and witness the breathtaking Milky Way, challenging each other to count the countless stars above.

Saturday morning brings a sense of excitement as we awake to the beginning of the solar eclipse. As the late morning hours unfold, the eclipse reaches its full splendor, offering a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle to cherish.

Once the eclipse passes, you’re invited to unwind and relax, basking in the awe-inspiring memories of the celestial display. Later that evening, we’ll gather around a warm and inviting campfire, sharing stories and laughter with newfound friends under the twinkling night sky.

On Sunday morning, as the sun rises, we’ll come together to dedicate an hour to ensure the preservation of the pristine environment we’ve enjoyed throughout our gathering. Let’s leave no trace and clean up our campsites, ensuring we leave only footprints and take away cherished memories.

This meet-up is a pack-in, pack-out event, providing a genuine camping experience in harmony with nature. As there will be no resources available, we kindly ask you to come prepared with your own food, water, and bathroom supplies.
